The Inland Isle Singers, a choir from the Mt. Shasta area, will present the first section of G.F. Handel’s great work, “The Messiah” on Saturday December 13 th at 3:00pm at Cedar Grove (The Old Methodist Church), in a concert sponsored by the Dunsmuir Chamber of Commerce.

The Inland Isle singers will be joined by a small ensemble of musicians, and will offer such famous solo and choral works as “Every Valley,” “And the Glory of the Lord,” “For unto us a Child is born,” and will conclude with the stirring “Halleluiah Chorus.”

The Inland Isle Singers, who include The Inland Isle Men’s Quartet, have been offering concerts in the area for over 20 years and most recently have been involved with 3 productions of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens in Mt. Shasta.

There will be an open dress rehearsal on Friday, December 12th at 7:00pm, and the door will be open on Saturday at 2:30. Cedar Grove (Old Methodist Church) is located at 4303 Oak St. Suggested donation is $10-$20 at the door.
